We LOVE chocolate chip cookies in this house!  Here, we have taken our favorite basic recipe, and made a couple of substitutions to make an extra hearty and heart healthy treat with the addition of oats, cranberries and dark chocolate.  We keep our heart health in mind by using the goodness of Olivio which brings healthy Omega-3s and delicious buttery flavor to this popular treat.

Preparation

  1. Prepare the Cookie Batter according to the Choc-Olivio recipe and substitutions.
  2. Sprinkle a pinch of kosher salt on the top of each ball of cookie dough.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake 10-12 minutes.
  4. Allow cookies to cool 5 minutes on baking sheet and then use a spatula to transfer to a wire cooling rack.  Allow to cool an additional 10 minutes before drizzling with melted chocolate chips.
