Like peanut butter and jelly, tequila and lime is a winning flavor combination. Tequila has a smooth, peppery heat that is nicely balanced with the zing of acidic lime juice. No need for blended margaritas to have all the fun, right?  We use this flavor packed duo to amp up week night chicken. This dish has a kick and gives the big kids something to talk about.


  1. In a large plastic bag, combine the lime zest, tequila, olive oil, garlic, jalapeño, coriander, oregano, salt, pepper and agave. Add the chicken and refrigerate for 4-8 hours.
  2. Generously blitz a grill pan with Olivio Buttery Spray and preheat over medium high heat.
  3. Sear the marinated chicken breast on both sides until the internal temperature reaches 165*.
  4. Serve warm with rice and salsa!
