Do you love turkey burgers but find that the lean meat can be sticky, difficult to work with and can dry out fast on the grill?  Try adding grated apple to the ground turkey meat (1 apple per pound of meat) and par baking the patties in the oven.  The meat will stay flavorful and moist and your par baked patties are perfectly prepped for your party!  Don’t forget to use Olivio Buttery Spray.  It’s fat free, loaded with delicious flavor and will keep the meat from sticking to the grill and can help achieve beautiful grill marks!


Preheat oven to 350*. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with Olivio Buttery Spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey meat, grated apple, minced jalapeno and kosher salt, using a fork to mix.

Divide the meat mixture and form 4 patties about 1×3″.  Place on the prepared baking sheet.  Spray the top with Olivio Buttery Spray and par bake for 10-15 minutes.  (If you do not plan on grilling your burgers, continue baking for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reads 165*.)

Heat grill on high and prepare your favorite fixings.  Grill 5+/- minutes or until internal temperature reads 165*.
