Cookies for breakfast? That sound like a great way to start the day! These cookies are allowed onto the breakfast table because they are low in sugar, packed with good protein and balanced with healthy fats from Olivio and Peanut Butter. Choose your favorite dried fruits and use this simple cookie dough as a base for creativity!

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350*.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking soda.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar with Olivio and then add in the egg. Add the banana and peanut butter and stir.
  4. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir a couple times before folding in the oats and cherries. Be careful not to over mix so the cookies stay light and airy.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes and store in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
