There are few things more delicious than a premium cut of steak, grilled over an open flame.  Seasoned lightly with sea salt and cracked pepper and finished off with a tablespoon of Olivio whipped with fresh basil is a perfect way to celebrate this holiday weekend!  Don’t be afraid to buy in bulk.  When the neighbors catch this sent blowing in the ‘hood, they will come knocking!

Preparation

  1. Pull steak from refrigerator and allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, uncovered.
  2. Preheat grill on high heat.
  3. In a small bowl mash together the basil with Olivio Butter Spread and set aside.
  4. Season meat generously with Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper.
  5. Place the seasoned meat over direct flame and cook 2 1/2 minutes before rotating 90 degrees.  Cook an additional 3 minutes.
  6. Flip the meat and repeat step 5.  Test for doneness (medium rare should read around 128 degreed F) and pull from grill and allow to rest on a serving platter for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve with a holiday serving of delicious Olivio Basil Butter on top and enjoy the goodness in every bite!
