Tossed with simple and delicious olive oil, salt and pepper and baked at a high temperature, these wings are crispy without the extra calories of wings battered and fried.  Smothered in a hot sauce made with Sriracha and Olivio, this addictive sauce has less salt and is packed with the goodness of olive oil thanks to  Olivio Buttery Spread.  These delicious appetizers taste fresh and bright  making us all a winner on game day!

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425*.
  2. Break down wings using a sharp blade at the 2 joints.  Reserve tips for stock and place the “drumettes” in a large prep bowl.
  3. Toss 3 lbs Chicken Wings in EVOO, Salt and Pepper.
  4. Lay wings on a wire baking rack over a baking sheet.
  5. Bake 45 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, combine 1/4 cup Homemade Sriracha with 8 oz Olivio.  Add more or less Sriracha depending on your heat preference.  This ratio will give you a moderate heat level. Let stand at room temperature to ensure easy basting.
  7. When wings have baked through and skin is crispy, pull from oven and immediately baste with Olivio’s Sriracha Butter and serve. Who needs a napkin when you have something so finger lickin’ good:)?

Sriracha is a spicy sauce made with red chilis and garlic.  It is traditionally  served with Vietnamese or Thai cuisine.  We use it here to spice up our wings, an American favorite!
