If you’re like me, preparing lunches and snacks for school aged children isn’t always easy.  Staying inspired, keeping your kids eating healthy and navigating personal and school dietary restrictions can make it challenging. Whether it’s a sweet treat or savory snack, sneaking in protein and produce makes snacks all the more wholesome and nutritious.

Here is a list of interchangeable bases and fillers that keep our family running through the day:


  • Apple Slices

FILLERS (Nut Free)

  • Hummus
  • Chocolate Hummus (Whoever invented this is a genius!)
  • Chicken Salad
  • Cream Cheese
  • Egg Salad
  • Speculoos
